RITUAL SEX AS ENERGY WORK

There are eight so-called paths that raise and direct energy. These are:

Meditation

Prayer

Visualizations

Affirmations

Chanting (singing)

Dancing

Drumming

and, SEX.

There are two functional methods of raising and channeling energy through sex. One such method is the ancient form of yoga called Tantra. If practiced properly and sincerely, Tantra will help to rid one of hang-ups about sex and the body in general. Tantric sex is all about raising and recycling energy throughout the body; it is a revitalizing and healing tool. It works best by first starting with oneself, learning how to work with the powerful energies inside. Then, one may progress to working with a partner. The body is an open channel for energy work; the mouth at one end and the genitals and anus at the other. By orally ingesting pre-orgasmic fluids and then experiencing full genital orgasm, an energy loop is created. But do not hasten the process. Take your time and build a state of complete arousal before actually performing sex. Communicate with your body, and that of your partner. Practice breathwork; use your other senses such as sight, smell, the sound of your breathing and that of your partner, taste one another; then intensify touch. The rewards that you reap later will be worth it! If one practices this form of yoga, a remarkable occurrence starts taking place; repeated or multiple orgasms! You will find that your energy level does not deplete, bur recycles and intensifies. To further enhance your experience, periodically orally ingest orgasmic juices, those of your own as well as your partner’s. ENJOY!

The other method of energy work is Sex Magick. With this type of experience one concentrates on a particular goal and directs the orgasmic energy to that objective. The energy becomes more intense according to the number of participants involved. The fluids, or elixir, is used as a philter, or vehicle; it contains your intent, and is transferable. You may use the elixir to anoint magickal tools or objects; you may use it to affect another person who may need healing or extra energy (either give them the elixir directly, or transfer it to them by means of a physical object). Since sex is a fertility function, it can also be used in prosperity rituals.

This article is not intended to be an in-depth treatise on Tantra and Sex Magick; there is an abundance of material already out there that one may peruse and study. This particular article is meant to portray ritual sex as a means to an end. Study and contemplate what relevance these types of energy work might hold for you. Without emotional baggage, ritual sex can be the most powerful of the eight paths mentioned above. Consider the axiom put down in the wonderful “Charge of the Goddess”: ‘all acts of love and pleasure are my rituals’.
