The Subconscious Mind

Have you ever been in a crowded room and your eyes meet that special someone and it seems like fate has brought you two together? You go over and introduce yourself and the electricity is almost a shock to your system it is so strong. Frequently this meeting of eyes and the resulting attraction ordains a lifetime of happiness but sometimes, down the road, the two people begin to feel that it was a bad fate that brought them together and they begin to wonder why they are always attracted to the wrong people.

We learned in school that the subconscious mind doesnŐt know truth from fiction. If you have told your mind that you can only be attracted to redheads that when that certain redhead appears it is immediate attraction. It makes no difference if you have nothing in common; your mind has already been made up in advance.

As you know, we try to send out positive thoughts in hope that positive things will happen to us, but have you ever stopped to think that maybe your positive thoughts are not being sent out because they are being blanked out by the negative thoughts we hold for ourselves?

Just what are we sending out? What are we attracting to ourselves? Have you programmed your subconscious mind to recognize truth or only the fairy tales we tell ourselves?

Are we pessimistic? Are we blaming the universe for our problems?

Are we full of negativity? Do we think that everything good always happens to the other person? If we are sending out negative thoughts how can we complain when our subconscious mind brings negativity back to us? The subconscious mind wants us to have every thing we desire so if we seem to desire frustration then that is what we will get.

Are we living in the NOW? Or are we trying to attract something in the future? The Universe doesnŐt care what you want it will bring it to you, but if you ask for something in the future you will never obtain it, for tomorrow never comes. Scientists know that time isnŐt going anywhere. Time is a circle. It is only we on earth that live by clock time. The universe doesnŐt. This in no way says you are not to plan or have a goal. For if you do not have a plan how will you know if you reach your goal? When you go to college you have a plan to graduate in 4 years but it is the day-to-day studies that put that graduation goal in reach. Suppose you say that you want to get a college degree but never go to college. Do you expect that college degree just to show up in your mailbox one day?  You want a better job but do nothing to improve your chances. Do you then curse fate for not giving you the better job?

It is by the programming of our subconscious mind to bring to us that which we desire that things come to us. Think good about someone and good comes back to you. Our subconscious mind hears us praise others and so brings praise back to us.

We can help our subconscious mind to bring to us the good things in life instead of the negative by the use of mantras.  A mantra has been used by every religion since time began. It is a saying that is repeated and repeated and É when we use a mantra it doesnŐt mean that life will get easier it just means that the problems we come into contact with will be easier to solve. Using a mantra is like using the multiplication table. The math problems may get harder but once we know our multiplication tables even the hardest problem can be answered. So once you start using your mantras even the hard questions become just a little easier to answer.

Mantras

Mantras have been used just about since the beginning of time to train the mind in the way it should go.

Since it is a known fact that the subconscious doesnŐt know the difference between truth and fiction a mantra said often enough penetrates the subconscious mind and the subconscious mind begins to perceive the mantra as truth and tries to bring forth that for which the mantra is asking.

What kind of mantra should we be using? Any kind or type is correct. There is no incorrect way to say a mantra. It is the repetition that makes a mantra work. The simplest mantra is ŇEvery day in every way I am getting better an better.Ó That mantra takes into account the negativity that you are feeling today and lets your mind know that you are getting better each day so each day will see less and less negativity.

You will need to repeat your Mantra each day. Say it out loud a minimum of 50 to 100 times a day. A thousand is even better. Use this mantra or find one you like but it is important that you constantly say your mantra as often as you can and out loud when possible. Also write you mantra down at least 10 times. A teacher once said that if you wrote something down 10 times it was yours. Let this mantra become yours. DonŐt worry about the negativity that seems to want to enter your life. Your mantra used often enough will override this negativity and then you will begin to see the positive aspects of using a mantra.

Remember, the subconscious mind doesnŐt know truth from fiction. It is up to us to ask our subconscious to bring us exactly what we desire.
